| Holla Xanga-landers. I realize no one is posting like we all used to but.... I just thought everyone should know that Jon McL and the boys are appearing on Leno TONIGHT! That's right, tonight, Aug. 7, 2007. His website hasn't been keeping up with all the news, so I felt someone (strings) needed to inform everyone who used to post and harrass on a regular basis. Hope everyone gets this. There's some more great news on the way about the tour schedule, but I'm sure the label will be announcing that sometime very soon.

| It's now official. The Bluffton Branch of the Berridge Bunch is moving back home to southern Indiana!!! Dr. Strings tendered her resignation Tuesday, July 10th. She handled it with her usual grace and charm. I just would have quoted them from the esteemed poet Johnny Paycheck -- "Take this job and shove it!" I've actually been working in Evansville for almost 2 months now. It's nice to be here, but a pain to drive back and forth every weekend. But now, only a few more weeks (we have to sell our house in Bluffton) until the transition is complete. Can't wait. Can't tell you exactly what our new address is, but I can tell you with somewhat certainty that there will be an in-ground pool involved. Don't know which just yet (we have to sell our house in Bluffton). Anyhoo -- when we get all settled in you all can come and visit! Bring you swim wear.

| Hey, Hey, Hey -- what-a-ya-say? Jon cracked the Billboard's Top 100 after just one week of the CD Indiana coming out in the # 81 position. Talk about cool. Now, if you all keep buying the CD, if you haven't already do so, and if you keep telling all your friends, aquaintences, parents, students and strangers on the street, Indiana could reach the top 10 (or maybe even #1!). I only bought 10 copies for friends, family and graduation gifts and depending on graduation invites, I will probably have to buy more. So everybody go out and pick up an extra copy for those you love!

| Is it me, or is no one of the "old gang" posting on Xanga anymore? What gives? Xanga used to be my lifeline to anti-mediocraty(sp?). Don't you all know old farts thrive on your young exploits? More posting is needed!!! I know I've beem a little laxed, but, come one == no posts since march of last year! Inquiring minds need to know! With that said, the latest pic of my beautiful grand-daughter:

some reason, my computer or my network or Xanga doesn't want me to make
any changes to my website. I've tried several times since my last post
and when I go to "save changes", nothing happens! So, I will be making
this post in stages. Text, then some pics, text, pics, etc.
1st
-- notice my "listening to" -- Jon's cover art and new "soon to be
released" CD is now recognized by Xanga. How 'bout that. More on Jon
& the boys later.
My original headline was Things be a happenin', but after I got done with all the pics and thangs, Xanga wouldn't take it! not sure if it was my computer, server or what!
The
1st thang I'd like to mention that is "happenin" : Brad & Ash (my
son & daughter-in-law, parents to my MOST beautiful grandbaby Emma)
bought a house. It's cool:

We
(Dr. Grandma Missy Strings & I) will be traveling to Emma's to see
her parents and help in the "move to the new", at the end of this
month. That will be cool. Brad will probably have a list of things for
me to do before the move. What he doesn't realize is that I don't "do"
those things anymore, I hire it done! But I will be looking forward to
"doing" whatever there needs to be done to accomplish a "smooth move!"
(lots a rhymes this time for some reason).

Also, his single Beautiful Disaster
was downloaded over 400,000 times last week on iTunes as the "Free
Single of the week". That's gotta be a record somewhere! That song is
also suppose to "appear" in the movie Georgia Rules with
Lindsay Lohan, Jane Fonda & Felicity Hoffman which is due out May
11th. Here's hoping all the best for Jon. And one more thing RE: jon
& the boys. An appearance on the CBS Saturday Early Show is
scheduled on April 28th (9:00 AM EDT, 8:00 CDT). Can't wait for that.
